Q: What kind of projects are you interested in?

A: My first choice would be an IEEE standards representation role. I can lead projects, evaluate market & technical activities within the standard, and assist your company in successful adoption of IEEE standards.

Q: What other kind of projects are you interested in?

A: I can provide system vendors with a good idea of new technologies they can adopt into their business and I can also assist PHY or Optical Transceiver suppliers with a key understanding of how to approach system vendors with a total solution to ease adoption of their technology.

Having worked with Venture Capitalists (VC) in my role, I can see an opportunity to assist them in evaluating the technical capabilities of potential investments as well.

I have also testified as a witness for HP in litigation and am familiar with the requirements of an expert witness.

Q: Why would you seek employment outside HP?

A: HP is a great company and I have been with the networking division since it first began, however, times have changed and my goals have changed. I wish to focus my work into specific areas and work on a variety of technologies that may fall outside HP's interests.
